The recruitment is open to eligible candidates possessing a valid J&K Domicile Certificate.

JKSSB Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Domicile
- Candidate must be a domicile of Jammu and Kashmir UT.
- Valid Domicile Certificate is mandatory.
Educational Qualification
- Qualification varies post-wise.
- Candidates must possess required qualification on or before the last date of application.
- Qualifications range from Matric with Science, 10+2, Diploma to Graduation and technical degrees, depending on the post.

JKSSB Selection Process 2026
Selection for all posts will be based on:
- Written Examination (Objective Type)
- Document Verification
- The written test will consist of multiple-choice questions.
- Negative marking of ¼ mark for each incorrect answer.
- Final merit will be prepared purely on the basis of written examination marks.
