Educational Qualification
- Head Assistant: Bachelor’s degree + 3 years experience as Senior Assistant or 6 years as Junior Assistant in Govt./University/PSU. Typing skill test mandatory (35 WPM, 90% accuracy).
- Semi-Professional Assistant: Master’s in Library Science with 55% marks OR Bachelor’s in Library Science with 55% marks and 2 years relevant experience.
- Hostel Warden: Bachelor’s in Hotel Management with 55% marks and 2 years experience OR Bachelor’s in any discipline with 55% marks + Diploma in Hotel Management with 2 years experience.
- Senior Assistant: Bachelor’s degree + 3 years experience as Junior Assistant. Typing skill test mandatory (35 WPM, 90% accuracy).
- Junior Assistant: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% marks. Typing skill test mandatory (35 WPM, 90% accuracy).
- Laboratory Assistant (Chemistry/Biochemistry/Zoology): Bachelor’s degree with 55% marks with the relevant subject.
- Laboratory Bearer and Library Bearer: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised Board.

Selection Process
Selection for all posts is based on merit in a Written Examination of 100 marks. For Head Assistant, Senior Assistant and Junior Assistant, a mandatory Skill Test (typing at 35 WPM with 90% accuracy) is also required.
- Candidates must score minimum 50% marks in the written exam to qualify for the Skill Test.
- Candidates will be called for the Skill Test in a ratio of 1:10.
- Mere appearance in the written exam does not automatically entitle a candidate for appointment.
