JKSSB Educational Eligibility Criteria
For Constable (Telecommunication):
- 10+2 passed with Science subjects
For Constable (Photographer):
- 10+2 with Science
- 6-month computer certificate from a recognized institute
- Minimum 2 years professional experience in photography/videography
All qualifications must be possessed on or before 02 March 2026.

Physical Standards (PST)
Male Candidates
- Height: 5 feet 6 inches
- Chest: 32 inches (normal), 33½ inches (expanded)
Female Candidates
- Height: 5 feet 2 inches
Height relaxation of 2 inches is applicable for Gorkha and Bot Tribe candidates.
Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Male Candidates
- 1600-meter run in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- 20 push-ups
Female Candidates
- 1000-meter run in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- Shot put (4 kg): 14½ feet (three attempts)
Relaxed standards apply to Ex-Servicemen according to age.
JKSSB Telecom Constable Selection Procedure
Candidates will be shortlisted through the following stages:

- NCC certificate holders eligible for bonus marks
