The Directorate of Health Services Jammu has issued the final seniority list of Malarial Inspectors / Senior Health Inspectors working in the Jammu Division, in the pay scale of Level-6 (₹35,900–₹1,13,500).
According to the notification, a revised tentative seniority list was earlier published, inviting objections or representations from concerned officials within the stipulated period. However, as no objections were received within the prescribed timeframe, the seniority list has now been finalized and forms Annexure ‘A’ to the notification.
The department has clarified that the dates of birth mentioned in the seniority list shall not be treated as final, and will remain subject to verification based on service records, matriculation certificates, and promotion orders.

It has further been stated that the finalized seniority list will be subject to the outcome of any writ petitions pending before competent courts of law, as well as future instructions regarding reservation in government service by promotion, including matters pending before the Supreme Court of India.

The notification also mentions that the reserved category and qualification status reflected in the seniority list shall be verified by the competent authorities. In case any reserved category certificate is found to be false or fake, the benefits availed shall be withdrawn retrospectively, and disciplinary action under relevant service rules shall be initiated against the concerned official.
