The Directorate of Health Services Jammu has issued the final seniority list of Junior Health Inspectors working in the Jammu Division, in the pay Level-4 (₹25,500–81,100).
According to the notification, a revised tentative seniority list was earlier circulated vide Office Order No. DHSJ/Es-09/Seniority/3685-99 dated 03 June 2025, inviting objections or representations from concerned officials regarding their placement in the list within a period of seven days.

As no objections or representations were received within the stipulated time, the department has now finalised the seniority list, which forms Annexure “A” to the notification.
The Directorate has clarified that the dates of birth mentioned in the seniority list shall not be treated as final and will remain subject to verification from official service records, matriculation certificates, and promotion orders.
It has further been stated that the seniority list shall be subject to the outcome of any writ petitions pending before competent courts of law, as well as future instructions regarding reservation in government service by promotion, including matters pending before the Supreme Court of India.
The notification also specifies that the reserved category and qualification status reflected in the list will be verified by the competent authorities. In cases where any reserved category certificate is found to be false or fake, the benefits availed shall be withdrawn retrospectively, and disciplinary action under relevant service rules shall be initiated against the concerned official.
