The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued an Addendum to Advertisement Notification No. 11 of 2025 dated 26 November 2025, revising the number of vacancies for the post of Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication) under Item No. 272.
Background of the Recruitment
Initially, the Home Department had referred 83 posts of Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication) to JKSSB vide Indent No. Home/PNG/322/2022-01 dated 19 July 2024, followed by subsequent communications on 06 September 2024 and 24 October 2025. These posts were advertised by JKSSB under Notification No. 11 of 2025.
Subsequently, the Home Department, through Letter No. HOME-PNG/181/2025 dated 05 December 2025, referred 21 additional posts of Sub-Inspector (Telecommunication), necessitating a revision in the total vacancy count.

With the issuance of the addendum, the total number of vacancies has been increased from 83 to 104 posts.

Important Clarification by JKSSB
JKSSB has reiterated that as per Para 03 of Advertisement Notification No. 11 of 2025, the number of posts may increase or decrease during or before the completion of the selection process. The Board is not legally bound for such variations, and the recruitment process remains subject to the outcome of any writ petition or O.A. pending before a competent court.
Other Conditions
- All other terms and conditions of Advertisement Notification No. 11 of 2025 shall remain unchanged.
- The addendum applies only to the revised number of vacancies for Item No. 272.
