The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the UGC NET December 2025 result on 04 February 2026. Candidates who appeared in the examination can now download their scorecards from the official website using their application number and date of birth or password.
The UGC NET December 2025 examination was conducted from 31 December 2025 to 07 January 2026 at centres across India. The result has been prepared strictly on the basis of the final answer key, which was released after examining objections raised by candidates.
Earlier, NTA published the provisional answer key and invited challenges. All objections were reviewed by subject experts, and necessary corrections were incorporated before finalizing the result.
The UGC NET result determines eligibility for:
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor
- Assistant Professor and PhD Admission
- PhD Admission Only
Separate category-wise and subject-wise cut-off marks for JRF, Assistant Professor, and PhD will be released by NTA.

📌 Important Information for Candidates
Only candidates scoring above the prescribed cut-off marks will be declared qualified. There is no provision for re-evaluation or re-checking of UGC NET results. Candidates are advised to regularly visit official websites for updates regarding cut-off marks and further procedures.
